BOOKS BY OUR FOUNDER - GINKGO SEQUOIA

THE TREE MYSTIC

He was a Spiritual Tree Mystic, assisted by a small team of troubled helpers who had responded to his advert.

Volunteers wanted -

 Get muddy and breathless -

Join us in India and get your life back.

He had been chosen to carry out the wishes of an ancient emperor.

His mission was painted

on an ancient Chinese scroll.

He also had his own desire -

to have a thousand wives.

An unusual deception, was the weapon

that he hoped would pay for them.

Along the way many would experience joy

and a life changing spiritual education.

Others would disappoint,

give up or let him down.

Some would lie and plot against him.

Can the Mystic succeed or will his own weaknesses bring his downfall?

A Self-help book to transform your life:

Remedies for: rejection, loss,

anxiety and trust issues.

 Spiritual healing for the troubled,

unloved and overlooked.

A  mindful book of love,

yoga, nature and art.

Available on Amazon Books.  Kindle or paperback from £5.99

 Eat Pray Fly...

Another version of the Tree Mystic tales.

This one is for vegetarian and vegan thinkers.

Here the spiritual tales and learning is a little more advanced.

It is this book that inspired the sequel, 'A woman with a thousand husbands.'

Written by Ginkgo Sequoia

Available on Amazon Books.

Kindle or paperback from £5.99

   LASCAUX - FRANCE

In 1940 Marcel Ravidat discovered one of France’s greatest treasures - the Lascaux cave paintings. The 17,000-year-old cave art is now a UNESCO World heritage site.  The Lascaux caves were also a place of worship and sacrifice. The cave paintings incorporate prehistoric star charts of the night sky. One of the most unusual cave paintings is a bird on a stick known as

‘The Birdman of Lascaux.’
In 1963 the French government shut the caves to the public and introduced extensive security measures to prevent any entry. At great expense, it constructed numerous replica visitor caves.
However, his book gives the reader a very different versions of events!

Like the old man sitting on the bed, her hair was creamy white. Like the wooden shutters at the front of the shop, she was dressed in soft pink. Adorning her were beaded necklaces; more than an elderly lady would normally wear. The red sindhoor on her forehead belied her true marriage status but gave her an air of mysticism. The fact that she rarely seemed to open her eyes, whilst she tip-toed around only added to her allure.

Stromboli was tough and all-knowing on the outside but hurting on the inside. Unable to make sense of the world that he had been left in, Stromboli could be cruel, unhelpful, competitive and lacking in empathy. However, one day he would re-find his innocence and his true loving heart.

Parminder - a Maharaja

Parminder - a Maharaja

Like Varanasi, Cameli had an attractiveness that was difficult to describe. It was not a beauty defined by obvious characteristics like soft eyes and lustre; only by the gaiety that it swept in. One that caused little birds to swoop between Cameli’s legs and butterflies to land on her refreshment tables.

‘What else must I do?’ he asked himself.

He was provided with another unequivocal answer; change would not be enough! He needed to transform his life: his goals, his actions and his thinking. A new barber might be able to dye his beard a different colour but they would be no match for a bushy tail.

Sollie paused for a moment to suck in the full splendour of Souvik’s regalia and appearance; an orange and yellow bandana and a vivid orange linen kurta. It was complimented by beaded necklaces and a white goatee beard. He certainly didn’t resemble the Indian taxi drivers he had seen in London.
